JOB DESCRIPTION
At Algoritma Data Science School, the marketing department delivered high-quality content for the audience through events, webinars, and digital content (social media posts, articles, and e-book). While some of our workshops have a price tag, most of our content is free; our marketing objective is to help our audience learn about the value of learning data science and how it could transform the way they work.
To help us delivered high-quality content, webinars, and events, we are seeking a multi-talented Marketing Project Manager. The successful candidate will have the opportunities to help us on:
Event Management
You will run a wide range of events and data science workshops, ensuring the attendee’s target numbers exceed expectations and providing the attendee with an exceptional learning experience.
- Work with our Product Team & Business Development to determine the event/webinar topic.
- Collaborate with our illustrators and digital marketing team to create images and writings to promote the event effectively.
- Use digital event marketing platforms (Eventbrite, Meetup, Website) to monitor and improve the event registration performance.
- Research venues, suppliers, and contractors, then negotiate prices and hire.
- Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel).
- Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and team briefings.
- Become the MC/moderator on our events.
Partnerships
Partnerships play a crucial role in our growth. We work with government officials, professionals, businesses, and data science communities to reach our target audience and educate our market.
- Maintain relationships with our existing partners.
- Reach out to potential partners for digital marketing content/event speakers.
- Work with universities or other educational institutions to help us educate the target audience.
- Produce detailed proposals for events and partnerships.
- Help to initiate and execute other partnership activities that may help the business to reach a broader audience.
Public Relations
You will handle all aspects of publicity campaigns and PR activities.
- Writing and producing presentations and press releases.
- Managing relationships and inquiries from businesses, universities, the press, and related organizations.
- Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences, and presentations.
Project Management
Each function that you do within this role will require you to have good project management skills. You will be responsible for leading the project from ideation to completion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Marketing Communications (Community Relations, Media Relations, PR, Promotions, Content), team management, and project management.
- Proactive, flexible, and be willing to take on any project and deliver on time, large or small – including setting up for events and cleaning as needed.
- High integrity, strong in multitasking (demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple assignments), communications, good problem solving (critical, strategic, and evaluative thinking), time management, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently or within a team.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills in Indonesian and English, and strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated project management, time management, and organizational skills
